ART makes every effort to source solid lumber and veneers from responsibly managed, sustainable forestry operations. 

Reduce / Re-use / Recycle
Every effort is made to use recycled / recyclable and / or reusable packaging materials and to keep them to the minimum volume required to ensure that our product meets ISTA Rule 181 guidelines for shipping.

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s)
ART has partnered with the premier finish material supplier for the global furniture industry – Akzo Nobel.  Akzo maintains the strictest quality control standards in the industry for VOC’s.  Their staff of finishing experts working in our manufacturing facilities ensure the most efficient use of these compounds and the most effective job capturing and properly disposing of them and / or recycling them.

Clean Air
ART product is compliant with current EPA / California indoor air quality regulations.  Our manufacturing standards met the requirements of the new CARB (California Air Resources Board) formaldehyde regulations ahead of deadline.  By the required date of 7-1-2010, all product shipped by ART from our warehouses in China and the US will meet the CARB regulations.

Consumer Safety
